A little confusing but a good product
It took me a while to realize the air fryer lid just sits on top and didn’t connect to be able to open as a hinged lid. It was either on the cooker or off. There are a ton of settings so best suggestion is to read the manual first. Despite the bells and whistles, it cranked out good wings pretty fast

Wish I never bought it.
Supped to be a Jack of trades for air frying, grill, pressure cooker, slow cooker. Useful for none.After going over the manual with a fine tooth comb I still could not get the thing to work. Reached out to Nuwave and asked for additional help. All I received was the manual that I already had.Just donât bother with this at all.

I’m sure most of us have heard the name NuWave at some point. They make good quality products and this NuWave Duet Pressure Cooker & Air Fryer Combo is no different.At first I didn’t quite understand how this could be both an air fryer and pressure cooker, but it is and it works well!I absolutely hate cooking. I’m a 24/7 single dad and my Son keeps my busy so most of the time I’m too tired to make big meals, but at the same time I don’t want us to be eating junk. This NuWave duet is fantastic in that regard! You can have meals prepared quickly and be ready to eat in no time at all.One of my favorite things to eat is roast beef. If you have never had roast beef in a pressure cooker, then you have been missing out, my friend! There is nothing better than a fall apart, melt in your mouth delicious roast beef, and you can achieve that very easily with the pressure cooker feature. If, however, you want to quickly and easily make French fries, chicken fingers, etc. then the Air Fryer feature has you covered!I’ll be honest, when air fryers first started hitting the market, I didn’t really see or understand the point of them and thought they were just another “gimmick”. Then I got the chance to try one… my life was changed forever. The speed and the deliciousness of the food that can be made in an air fryer without oil, or very little oil, is pure awesomeness!This NuWave Duet is very well made, it works great! And again, for someone like me who is a 24/7 dad and always on the move, I’m usually exhausted by the end of the day and the last thing I feel like doing is cooking. That’s where this NuWave Duet shines! It’s a lifesaver! You can make delicious meals without much preparation and very quickly!Overall, I would highly recommend it! I don’t know what I would do without it and I’m not sure how I ever did. If you have never used an air fryer or pressure cooker, then you need to and this is a great option.

This thing cooks REALLY quickly!
Iâve always heard of a pressure cooker⦠but have never had one and was, in all honesty, a little scared of them. I guess I always thought the lid would blow sky high on one. Fortunately, that didnât happen.Since my wife is a bit more adept in the kitchen than I am, I asked her to help me out getting this thing up and running. OK⦠I admit⦠she did ALL the work! It took her a little time to read through the instructions and she had a little bit of a struggle getting through the instruction booklet since this thing can do SO MUCH! But after a little bit of re-reading and trying it out⦠she was able to get it cooking.And MAN⦠did it do a REALLY fast job⦠or it seemed that way to me. I guess I really donât know how long it should take to cook a 4 pound beef roast⦠but it sure seems like it should take a lot longer than 30 minutes!?!?! But thatâs the time it took to cook it in the pressure cooker.She didnât really do anything special to the roast other than follow directions⦠we didnât have potatoes or carrots to add in there⦠so it was pretty middle of the road roast⦠but it cooked it nicely in 30 minutes. I was quite impressed! Now that I see how quickly it works and how easy it is once you understand it. I might even give it a try myself! Well⦠probably not.It also allows you to sear the meat before pressure cooking it. I canât wait to give that a try with a good seasoning rubbed onto a pork or beef roast. Thatâs gonna make for some good eats!I tell you what⦠if you havenât tried a pressure cooker / air cooker⦠this NuWave is a good one to try out. I donât think youâll be disappointed. Who knows⦠we may even get rid of our air fryer since this is a combo unit! We can save a little countertop space!
