Perfect for top of toaster oven/air fryer
When I purchased a new toaster oven, I also sprung for a similar cutting board to go on top so I could actually use the top of the oven for storage. So when I got my daughter a new toaster oven/air fryer, I ordered her this cutting board for the top of it. The silicone feet do not slip on the oven top and keep the wood/bamboo high enough off the oven top that it never gets warm. Since my daughter’s counter space is very limited, she needs the room. This is the perfect solution for freeing up usable space and I would have no hesitation in recommending this!

Caution: Board Gets Hot
A few positives first: This AIEVE cutting board makes a nice looking topper for my Cuisinart countertop oven. Itâs much more attractive than the plain metal oven roof, plus the smooth surface makes storing things easier than if theyâre placed directly on the grooved ridges that cover the top of the oven. That said, I donât keep it in place when the oven is in use. Why?This board has some limited insulating properties due to the air pocket created by the raised feet. But itâs misleading for the seller to say, âAlso keeps the top cool when the oven is workingâ â especially not when the image next to that claim shows a blue (cold) thermometer icon and what appear to be ice cubes.Iâve measured the temperature on top of the board when my oven is in use. Using an infrared thermometer, the temperature of the board averages around 150° F â but I found it can go up to nearly 200° F in some situations. The feet feel more like hard plastic than resilient silicone, so I have concerns that the feet could melt when the oven is used at higher temperatures or when set on broil. For those reasons â and more â I only use it for storage purposes when the oven is NOT in use.Finally, although the board is advertised for use as a cutting board, potential buyers should pay attention to the fact itâs made from bamboo. While bamboo is popular â and sustainable â the silica content is quite damaging to knives when compared with traditional wooden boards made from maple, beech, or even acacia. People who value having sharp, good quality kitchen knives should reserve this bamboo board for storage use or as a serving platter.

This bamboo cutting board fits perfectly on top of my Cuisinart air fryer/toaster oven and gives me more usable space now. I can set things on it and not worry that they will get too hot and I can also use it as a convenient cutting board. It’s elevated so it doesn’t sit completely flat on the top which allows for air flow and also protects the bottom of the cabinet under the air fryer.
